Studio Policy

 

 

1. HOME STUDIO

As of January 2015:  60 minute lesson $40 and 45 minute lesson $30

As of July 2016:  60 minute lesson $45 and 45 minute lesson $34

As of July 2017:  60 minute lesson $50 and 45 minute lesson $37.50

TRAVEL TO PRINCETON

Add $12 to each lesson fee

TRAVEL TO SOMERSET, HILLSBOROUGH, EDISON & NEW BRUNSWICK

Add $10 to each lesson fee

 

2. If there is less than 24 hours notice, no makeup can be offered. You have 30 days to make up the missed lesson.

 

3. Regular lessons cannot be scheduled on Sundays, but I do offer makeups (as needed) that day until 12:00PM.

 

4. If lessons or chamber classes are terminated before the end of the month, the payments cannot be reimbursed.

 

5. Payment must be made at the beginning of each month. If not paid by the 15th, a $5 late fee will be added on.

 

6. ALL summer lessons (July & August) must be scheduled and paid by July 1.  If not, lessons can NOT be offered.

 

7. The student must come on time.  I teach back to back lessons. If a student cannot make it to the lesson in a timely fashion, no extra time will be offered. I cannot keep the next person waiting.

 

8. Please notify me of any health problems that I should be aware of and whom to notify in case of an emergency.

 

9. The student must practice every day and part of the time with the parent’s supervision.

This will only help the child improve and is very important because the parents need to know what they are learning. They need to motivate their child to do the work required at home.

 

10. RECITALS

Two recitals will be REQUIRED yearly in my home studio.  The dates will be announced each September.  A student recital fee of $20 will be charged at that time.
